The purpose of our breeding program began in an effort to achieve to goals.

First, we had a need for large, sturdy saddle horses that had the strength and stamina required on a working cattle ranch. The mountainous terrain and long stretches of desert we cover as cattle ranchers requires horses that can go the distance.

Our second goal was to produce a consistent line of sound horses that we felt had the demeanor to safely carry our most precious cargo, our children. Our program combines the large frame in the Hancock line that ranchers and team ropers need, with the cow horse conformation and demeanor sought after by barrel racers and reigned cow horse competitors in Doc O Lena.
